Centipede Spine

This was one of the first projects I had made using wood and wanted to push myself to see the limits of my wood working skills. At the time, I was inspired by off putting art that could make someone feel uneasy and wanted to create something that emulated that feeling. Taking inspiration from bugs like the centipede or the millipede and combining it with my interpretation of a spine, I created this piece carving over 50 pieces of wood individually.
